{"id":9578,"date":"2022-06-24T13:53:25","date_gmt":"2022-06-24T11:53:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lucidrealities.studio\/?p=9578"},"modified":"2022-07-13T17:46:07","modified_gmt":"2022-07-13T15:46:07","slug":"the-starry-sand-beach-selected-at-the-cannes-xr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lucidrealities.studio\/index.php\/en\/2022\/06\/24\/the-starry-sand-beach-selected-at-the-cannes-xr\/","title":{"rendered":"THE STARRY SAND BEACH selected at the Cannes XR x VeeR Future Award Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are proud to announce that our project <a href=\"http:\/\/lucidrealities.studio\/index.php\/en\/portfolio\/hoshizuna-no-hama-the-starry-sand-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Starry Sand Beach<\/a> has been officially selected to compete in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchedufilm.com\/programs\/cannes-xr\/veer-future-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2022 Cannes XR x VeeR Future Award Competition<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchedufilm.com\/programs\/cannes-xr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cannes XR<\/a> is a program dedicated to immersive technologies and cinematographic content; an annual event that offers to the XR community a multitude of financing and distribution opportunities. Cannes XR is also a networking platform, where professionals of the XR world can come together to discuss and exchange ideas about XR technologies and the future of film and storytelling.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Starry Sand Beach is a VR scientific tale co directed by Nina Barbier and Hsin-Chien Huang, co produced by Lucid Realities and the Mus\u00e9um National d\u2019Histoire Naturelle, with the support of Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) , Centre national du Cin\u00e9ma et de l\u2019Image Anim\u00e9e -CNC- , PROCIREP \u2013 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Producteurs &amp; ANGOA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the 17th till the 25th of May, our project The Starry Sand Beach competed in the Shortlist selection among other 17 projects.
