Lucid Realities is pleased to announce that Elise Morin’s Spring Odyssey AR experience has been selected for the South by Southwest Festival 2023 in Austin, Texas. 

South by Southwest is a series of music, film and interactive media festivals held annually since 1987 in March in Austin, USA.

SXSW Interactive, the new technology section of the festival, has earned the festival a reputation as a breeding ground for innovative technologies and creative ideas.

The augmented reality experience Spring Odyssey, directed by Élise Morin and co-produced by Lucid Realities and Tulips & Cie Production, has been selected for this important event as part of the SXSW Experience Spotlight.

Elise Morin lives and works in Paris, where she has exhibited at the Centquatre, the Jeu de Paume, and the Grand Palais. Her work was also shown at contemporary art museums in Bucharest, Moscow, Beijing, and Tokyo. 

She has been selected to be part of the artist residency at the Villa Albertine in Houston and Marfa where she will conduct research on relational practices between humans and non-humans through the prism of space exploration.
