THE LITTLE DANCER

Collection “When she gets out…”
An augmented reality project created by
Gordon & Marie Sellier

When she gets out is a collection of augmented reality experiences in which Edgar Degas’ Little Dancer brings children along a fantastic journey through artworks displayed in museums.

Her playful silhouette strolls around paintings, drawings, sculptures and many other magical worlds created by artists, looking onto them with a naive and enchanted gaze.

In the first episode in co-production with the Musée d’Orsay, the dancer has fallen for young imperial prince Eugene. In order to bring him to life and free him from his frozen sculpted world, she must go from painting to painting, some of them being renowned masterpieces in art history, and gather the ingredients of a magic potion…
